First, you will most likely be speaking directly to our main lawyer – Neil Redmond. Neil will explain to you whether you have a case or not. He will explain to you why are you do not have a case if that is the situation. If you do have a case we will set up a time for you to come into our office and speak directly to Mr. Redmond or one of his staff about your case.

The second step in the process is for the law firm to notify the defendant about your claim by sending them a letter and asking them to preserve any evidence that they may have such as video surveillance footage. We will also ask them to notify the insurance company that covers this type of claim for them.

The third step is to make sure that each and everyone of our clients who was injured is getting the proper and adequate medical care and treatment for their injuries. If you do not know where to get treatment because you have never experienced this type of incident we can refer you to medical providers who will be able to give expert care and treatment.

After you meet with us we will send you a letter that indicates that we represent you and it outlines all of the steps and procedures that you should follow to protect your rights. For example you should not speak to anybody from the insurance company directly or one of the defendants directly unless the lawyer is present during that conversation. Throughout the course of our handling of your case we will communicate regularly to you and we want you to feel free to call us whenever you have a question or concern.

In many cases such as Worker’s Compensation cases or no-fault cases the law provides that you will be compensated for your time out of work during that time you were out of work. However, if you need assistance to meet your financial obligations there are companies that we work with which will provide advances that you will have to pay back from your settlement or trial verdict.
